Self-esteem — Do you have it?
Let’s face it, everyone will have negative thoughts here and there but for some of us, it can cause severe damage and negatively impact their lives. It’s crazy to think how important it is for your mental health and happiness, yet so many of us don’t have it. I still struggle with it from time to time but I also know that if I want to succeed in anything that I do or want to do I have to have it.
Now, it doesn’t mean you need to be conceited or go around bragging about yourself, it just means you value yourself and believe in yourself. I’ve had to learn how to do this and so can you but I’ll just start with convincing you WHY you need it first.
Top 3 Reason Why You Need Self-Esteem
#1 Without it can mean the difference between SUCCESS & FAILURE
If you think you can’t do something or you think you’re not smart enough or strong enough, then chances are you’ll be right.
Think about it — the mind is so powerful that if you think you can’t do something, you just might convince yourself it’s true.
#2 It can stop you from even trying
If you think you can’t do something then you might not even try.
I do a lot of different fitness programs but if I looked at one and immediately said, “I can’t do that” or “I’m not strong enough”, then I probably won’t even try it, right? I already FAILED without even doing anything.
Again, the difference between SUCCESS & FAILURE!
#3 It can affect your happiness and the people around you
If you think negatively about yourself that’s how you end up feeling. You can’t be happy when you feel or think that way about yourself.
When you’re unhappy than those around you will be unhappy.
You will attract other negative people.
If you don’t value yourself — NO ONE ELSE WILL!
